A ‘well-established’ city centre restaurant has been put up for sale, located in a prime spot.
Taza in Town went on the market this week, and is currently priced at £130,000. The ‘extremely popular’ venue was established back in 2019, specialising in Syrian, Mediterranean and Lebanase cuisine.
The current owner is ready to sell the business along with all stock, fixtures and fittings for whoever takes on the business. Seven staff members currently employed have said they are happy to continue employment under new ownership.

The sale is due to the current owner having ‘other business commitments’. Silk Letting Ltd, who are selling the restaurant, said: “This is the perfect opportunity for any new owner to take over an already well-established and profitable business.
“This is a business to get excited about and it is a rare opportunity in the market. We anticipate great interest in this amazing listing, and we don’t expect this business to be on the market for long.”
The ‘superbly presented’ venue is located over one floor, and can accommodate 40 covers. It also benefits from a large kitchen and storage room in the basement, as well as an outdoor courtyard area that can seat 12.
Taza in Town currently has a score of 4.5 on TripAdvisor, with over 75 per cent of reviews giving the spot an ‘excellent’ rating. A recent review said: “We went with seven people on Saturday evening for dine in.

“We really enjoyed the food, even with some strict dietary requirements. They made all of it fresh, and would love to go again.”
A spokesperson for the business said: “This extremely popular and well-established restaurant was initially established in 2019, with a menu serving fresh and authentic dishes and specialising in Syrian, Mediterranean and Lebanese dishes.
“The restaurant is ideally located in a busy area, surrounded by bars and live music venues with no immediate competition and benefits from a high influx of tourists. The restaurant currently has a licence to serve alcohol until 3am, which is extended to 5am during the Edinburgh Festival in July and August.”
