An Edinburgh lorry has erupted into flames after the HGV caught fire on the city bypass.
Emergency services raced to the scene on the A720 on Friday afternoon, after reports of the blaze came in shortly before 2pm.
Both fire crews and police are still in attendance at the Millerhill slip road, with the slip currently closed to traffic as the flames are brought under control.
Traffic Scotland have advised motorists heading eastbound on the bypass to expect delays, with those needing to use the slip road to find an alternative route.

A video taken from the scene has shown the lorry appears to have been carrying machinery, with the worst of the fire seeming to be in the cabin.
Huge flames have been captured coming from the vehicle, with emergency services shown trying to bring the fire under control.

Large plumes of smoke have also been spotted coming from the vehicle.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 2pm on Friday 1 April to reports of an HGV fire at the Millerton junction of the A720 Edinburgh city bypass.
“Operations control immediately mobilised four appliances to the location and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are extinguishing the fire.
“Crews will remain at the scene until the area is made safe.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Emergency services are in attendance following a lorry on fire on the A720 between Sheriffhall and Old Craighall which was reported around 2pm on Friday, 1 April, 2022.”
