Tens of thousands of fans descended on Murrayfield Stadium on Tuesday to watch rock superstar Bruce Springsteen.
As part of an epic world tour, The Boss took to the stage in Edinburgh for three hours to sing his classics as well as new hits from his 21st studio album, Only the Strong Survive.
Before the concert, many fans crowded around the Balmoral Hotel in the hope to get a sighting of the 73-year-old rockstar. But were left disappointed.

After the concert, a number of fans headed to the back of Murrayfield Stadium where a black Mercedes pulled out the gates with blacked-out windows. The car was escorted by police on motorbikes with flashing lights.
As the car drove away, fans waved the Born The Run singer off.
Bruce Springsteen rose to fame with his third album Born to Run in 1975 which was a catalyst for a legendary career that has spanned six decades.
In 1984, Born in the USA saw The Boss reunite with the E Street Band and became one of the best-selling albums of all time.
Taking to Twitter after the gig, fans praised the star. One said: "Age defies him. First saw Bruce Springsteen at Wembley in 1981 - 42 years later, he’s still absolutely killing it. No one comes close."
A second said: "Fantastic gig last night at Murrayfield. Three hours of amazing rock music. Big thanks to the Boss."
"Bruce Springsteen showing why he is “The Boss” - 73 years old and running around the stage like a Duracell bunny for three hours!! what a show, what a showman!" A third said.
