Popular restaurant BRGR have announced they will be permanently closing both of their Edinburgh venues.
The Scottish burger chain had been running two different eateries in the city, but have now told customers they will no longer be operating.
Running the Nicolson Street restaurant for years, the site had seen thousands of diners pour in from across the city to enjoy their range of burgers.
In 2021, the company made the decision to open a second restaurant in Corstorphine, with both venues appearing to thrive with takeaways during the pandemic.

However, the new restaurant was the first to close earlier this year, with BRGR sharing on Thursday that their original Edinburgh venue will also be disappearing.
Speaking on social media, they said:
"The time has come for BRGR to say goodbye to Edinburgh - but don't worry you've got until Sunday to get your fix!

"Thank you to all of our amazing customers, it's been emotional!"
With the last day of trading on Sunday (July 3), many foodies were gutted to hear the news the restaurant would be shutting down.
One user replied on Instagram saying: "How come you're closing? It's been very nice tasty treats so thanks for that you will be missed."
Another commented: "Nooooooooooo!"
After Sunday, the nearest BRGR restaurant will be in Glasgow, with the city centre and Great Western Road sites remaining.
