A video on social media has shown armed police officers deployed to a quiet Edinburgh residential area during the day.
Posted on Snapchat, the video shows multiple heavily armed officers in protective gear walking around a block of flats on Bonnybridge Drive, the road that backs on to Fort Kinnaird.
The video was posted on Friday, March 11, with Police Scotland confirming that a 50-year-old man was arrested.

Up to four armed officers are seen coming out of the block of flats in the area, carrying rifles and wearing protective equipment.
The next photo shows a number of police cars parked outside the flats, with the person who captured the initial video saying the SWAT team were present, alongside five police cars.
Most of the flats within Bonnybridge Drive have recently been built, with the nearby Blackchapel Road connecting to the busy Fort Kinnaird retail park.
The video also appears to have been recorded by several youths who are watching on as the action unfolds, but also shouting and clapping in a sarcastic manor towards the armed officers.
As well as carrying rifles, the officers are also wearing protective helmets whilst coming out of the flats.
Police Scotland issued a comment on the incident. Inspector William Falconer said: "Around 3.10pm on Friday, 11 March, police were called to a property on Bonnybridge Drive in Edinburgh, following a report of a disturbance.
"A 50-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and appeared in court on Monday, 14 March."
