In the midst of a busy summer season, Edinburgh Airport has issued security advice to passengers.
With people across Scotland heading off to soak up some summer sun this month, the airport shared a tip to "get through security quickly and efficiently". With many travellers heading to the airport for the first time since the pandemic, queues are to be expected — so the last thing you want is to miss your flight.
It took to social media to share the guidance with followers. Writing on Twitter, Edinburgh Airport said: "Just a wee reminder to be prepared when going through security, and make sure to remove all liquids from your bags.

"This helps everyone get through security quickly and efficiently, meaning you can start getting excited about take off sooner!" Since being posted, one Twitter user has replied to the post with a question regarding passing through security at the airport.
They asked: "Do you need to take your phone iPad out of there cases or can they be left on?" In response, Edinburgh Airport wrote: "You don't need to take them out of their cases. Hope this helps and have a nice trip when it comes!"
