With summer just around the corner, Scots around the country will be preparing to jet off for some sun in the coming months.
The queues at Edinburgh Airport will therefore be longer than they have been in some time, meaning travellers will need to ensure they arrive in good time.

For those who want to avoid potentially missing their flight as a result of lengthy queues, Edinburgh Airport has announced an update regarding its FastTRACK service.
On its website, the airport states that while it is working to "ensure queues kept are as short as possible", it admits that "some queues are inevitable".
Posting on its official Facebook account, the airport wrote: "As summer approaches, the airport is set to get busier once again. One way to beat the queues is to book our FastTrack security service. Here are some fast facts about FastTrack:
"Open from 4AM to 6PM.
"Children under two go free.
"Flexible so you can arrive up to an hour before or after your booking."

What is FastTRACK at Edinburgh Airport?
FastTRACK is a service offered by Edinburgh Airport to those who wish to avoid lengthy queues at security and passport control.
Those who use FastTRACK will be placed in a separate queue that will move faster than the regular one, ensuring that you won't be held up.
However, the airport states: "We're not saying there'll be absolutely no queues whatsoever in these lanes because, well, you'll not be the only person using it, but we can guarantee it'll speed up your journey."
Where is FastTRACK?
According to Edinburgh Airport, the FastTRACK lane at security can be accessed in of two ways.
Those who have arrange to park at the multi-storey car park will automatically be given FastTRACK passes.
From here, the fast lane can be accessed directly via the overbridge on the second floor — with signs help showing the way.
For travellers who are not parking in the multi-storey car park, the FastTRACK lane can be accessed via the the dedicated archway on the left-hand side as they approach approach security in the terminal.
Edinburgh Airport says: "It's all signposted and there's no way you'll miss it. A FastTRACK lane is also in operation at passport control, and you'll see it as soon as you enter the arrivals hall."
How do I use FastTRACK?
You can either book FastTRACK in advance or when you arrive at Edinburgh Airport.
The only thing that is required to book is your plane ticket or booking confirmation.
According to the airport: "Bookings can be made priced from £6 per person however, as outlined earlier, you'll also get access to security FastTRACK with multi-storey parking."
It adds: "You can purchase passes on the day using one of the QR codes, or via our website by clicking here."
