The Miami Dolphins may have won their Black Friday matchup with the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium, but they suffered a loss that will impact the remainder of their 2023 campaign.
During the contest, linebacker Jaelan Phillips suffered a torn Achilles that will keep him out for the remainder of the year and likely part of 2024 as well.
While Miami may look to their options that are already on the roster and practice squad (Emmanuel Ogbah, Andrew Van Ginkel, Cameron Goode and Quinton Bell), there are still some free agents that they could consider signing for the rest of the season.
UPDATE: Since this was published, it’s been reported that the Dolphins will sign Jason Pierre-Paul.
