Ederson has hailed Erling Haaland for his elite mentality as well as his freakish proficiency in front of goal.
Manchester City moved to secure the highly-in-demand Haaland in the summer as they swiftly defeated all competition to claim him for a relative steal. Massive expectations were set upon the Norwegian sensation but he has even surpassed them, grabbing a remarkable 24 goals in just 18 matches.
Yet it's not just Haaland's form in front of goal that has left Ederson so impressed but his exemplary attitude and desire on the pitch as well. “I hope he can continue being the magnificent player he is," he told City's in-house media.

“He has an absurd mentality and I hope he can keep evolving like he is.
“What I think and what most of the people think is that he is a striker, a goalscorer that works for the team, is always trying to find passes, looking to finish, is a presence in the box.
“He came to our team to aggregate a lot. He showed that in Dortmund and he's showing now at City. He is also a calm guy. He is very calm but with a huge ambition.”
Haaland was struggling with a foot problem last month but while the majority of City's squad was in Qatar representing their countries in the World Cup, the 22-year-old was afforded plenty of time to rest and fully recover from the knock. It looks to have already paid off as he seemed back to his best upon the Blues' return to action last week and resumed normality by scoring after just 10 minutes against Liverpool.
Next up, Haaland will return to the city of his birth as his side takes on Leeds United on Wednesday.
