After waiting months to sign a contract, Eddie Jackson landed in the perfect, no-pressure situation after signing a one-year deal with the Ravens.
The veteran safety is far from the player he was in 2018 and 2019, but he’ll be solid in replicating the third safety role vacated by Geno Stone’s departure to Cincinnati. Jackson called Baltimore the perfect fit during his first press conference with Baltimore media when asked about his signing.

Relationships are everything, and Jackson will be comfortable after reuniting with critical faces.
Jackson played college football at Alabama with Marlon Humphrey and Derrick Henry, while he spent his first five seasons in the NFL with Roquan Smith in the Bears’ defense. In Baltimore, he’ll see fewer snaps but should flourish with Kyle Hamilton and Marcus Williams doing the heavy lifting.
