Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe says he would love to see the Magpies somehow increase the capacity at St James' Park.
Howe spends time speaking to supporters outside the training ground and is well aware of how difficult it is to land tickets these days. It is all a far cry from when Mike Ashley was handing out 10,000 free season tickets four years ago.
And the way Howe has got his team playing has brought supporters flocking back in great numbers. Amid a cost of living crisis, with many families suffering tough times, Howe's team are also bringing plenty of pleasure to fans and smiles back on faces.

Howe told Chronicle Live: "We would love the capabilities for more supporters to come and see us play. "It is very difficult, I speak to a lot of supporters outside the training ground who can't get tickets or can't get to games, for loads of different reasons.
"Following the team away is incredibly expensive. The cost to support us, not just the time they give up, but the monetary cost is huge.
"We really appreciate all the support we get. We'd love to make it easier for everybody, it's a little bit beyond me, but I'd love to see others get the opportunity to see us play."
Supporters excitedly chanted about trips to Italy as the game wore on against Brighton the other night. But the Magpies could soon be hosting top teams from Serie A, the Bundesliga or La Liga in autumn.
Howe reflected: "It is amazing. Part of me can't wait to experience the European nights at St James' Park. Regardless of what competition we were going to be in."
