Eddie Howe has warned that Newcastle United are just getting started as the high-flying Magpies have got 'so much more to achieve'.
Newcastle moved into the top four for the first time in years following a superb victory at Spurs last time out and Howe's in-form side have won four of their last five games. You have to go back to August for Newcastle's one and only defeat this season and, even then, that was courtesy of a 98th-minute suckerpunch against Liverpool at Anfield.
However, with Jonjo Shelvey, Allan Saint-Maximin and Alexander Isak all to come back into the starting line-up, following their respective spells on the sidelines, Howe does not believe Newcastle are at 'full speed yet' without the £88.5m trio. In fact, as Howe approaches the first anniversary of his appointment, scarily, the Newcastle head coach feels there is still so much more to come after the 44-year-old took over a winless outfit deep in relegation trouble nearly a year ago.

"Time flies," Howe told reporters. "It's incredible to think as the months have ticked by that it's nearly led to a year for me here. We have enjoyed it, but it's gone so quickly.
"I do feel there's an element of just starting with the team and we have got so much more to achieve and do but, probably, if I'm sat here in another year's time, I'll be saying exactly the same thing."
Newcastle are bidding to win five Premier League games in a month for the first time since 2006 against Aston Villa at St James' Park on Saturday. An 18th top-flight victory of 2022 would be Newcastle's most in a calendar year since the Magpies recorded 20 wins under Sir Bobby Robson two decades ago.
