Eddie Howe's Bruno Guimaraes decision has got Newcastle United supporters talking

Newcastle United fans are delighted to see Bruno Guimaraes will make his full St James' Park debut against Wolves on Friday night. The January signing is one of two changes made by Eddie Howe in the wake of last week's humbling defeat at Tottenham.

The Magpies are hoping to avoid a fourth straight Premier League loss, and re-establish a 10-point cushion over the relegation zone. However, Bruno Lage's side are pushing for an unlikely European spot, and earned a 2-1 victory over Steve Bruce's side last October.

Guimaraes has had to wait patiently so far for his opportunities to impress in black-and-white. The Brazil international marked his first start with a memorable winner at Southampton, and started the following two defeats at Chelsea and Everton.

Howe had warned the club would be forced to make a late call on Joe Willock's availability, with the summer signing struggling with a slight knee complaint. Guimaraes comes into the midfield alongside Jonjo Shelvey and Joelinton, with Emil Krafth replacing Javier Manquillo.

Here is how Newcastle United fans reacted to the latest team lineup and Guimaraes' full debut:

'Magic hat'

'Masterclass incoming'

'Need a win'

'No complaints'

'Probably our strongest squad'

'So happy'
