Eddie Howe admits he is facing a "tough call" this weekend when it comes to picking a goalkeeper for the clash against Nottingham Forest.
Howe took a look at Nick Pope against Atalanta with the former Burnley stopper doing well and making a fine first half save to deny Duvan Zapata. Pope has arrived to boost the goalie department, while Dubravka has been established as number 1 and fan favourite for four years.
Howe said: "I thought Martin did very well today. "He made a couple of very good saves and distributed the ball well. Nick played really well (against Atalanta), so again, that’s a tough call."
Howe also looked at Karl Darlow over pre-season with the ex-Forest stopper playing during the club's trip to Portugal. Howe added: "He’s fine. Karl played in the previous two games against Benfica and Burnley, so it was just a rotation.
