Bruno Guimaraes' withdrawal at Southampton was nothing more than cramp - much to the relief of Newcastle United fans. The away end fell silent for the one and only time at St Mary's when Bruno went down to receive treatment.
But the Brazil international did not set off for treatment and joined the subs on the bench. And he was present for the team celebrations in the visiting locker room at St Mary's following the Magpies' 2-1 win.
Eddie Howe said after the game: “I think it’s cramp - I’m not 100 per cent sure. His English is improving - but it’s not perfect. I asked if he had cramp and he nodded his head.”

The Brazilian international's wonderful backheel goal followed Chris Wood's first strike for the club as they cancelled out Stuart Armstrong's opener for the hosts. When asked about the goal, Howe added: “Oh, that is special. This was welcome to the Premier League for Bruno. "
