Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe joked he'd have to sleep over who gets the nod to start against Brentford as his main striker.
With no clear timeline on when the pair would start a game together, with the Magpies' 4-3-3 formation making the selection trickier, Howe must decide whether to stick with Callum Wilson or go back to Alexander Isak. Wilson has now scored three goals in two matches while Isak has three in his last three matches.

When asked over who will start against Brentford, Howe said: "I think I'll leave that one for another day! I don't think I'll burn any energy doing that now. But they're the problems you want to have and it's a great situation to be in for me."
Howe said it was a far cry from the days in which he struggled to have a prolific striker to choose from. The head coach reflected: "I've been in other situations where you might not have a player to fill the role. Now I've got two outstanding players and I'll try to make the right call for the next game."
Newcastle could arguably make seven changes to their line-up compared to the last time out at Brentford especially if Howe went with: Pope, Trippier, Schar, Botman, Burn, Longstaff, Bruno, Willock, Saint-Maximin, Isak, Murphy. With another summer of recruitment just weeks away, United's evolution under Howe remains rapid.
