Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has unequivocally shut down any suggestion of a boxing match with Thor Bjornsson in an expletive response.
Company CEO Frank Smith had suggested that the 42-year-old should fight ‘The Mountain’ after a video emerged of Hearn dropping him during an in-house contest between the pair. “Every time I thought I'd throw a punch I was scared he was going to throw one back,” he told Pro Boxing Fans (via the Mirror ).
“I'm not one of these tough guys, I'll be honest. I quite enjoy doing it for fitness, I find there's no better fitness than that, so I think I'll let someone else do it, but maybe Eddie could fight Thor.

"That's a big fight, but I think Thor would knock him out though. I went five rounds against the big lump, I went down once but I got back up and that's all that matters.”
But Hearn, who represents Tyson Fury's heavyweight opponent Dillian Whyte, dissolved any chance of such a contest when speaking to Boxing UK. He said: “**** that. "I've got a broken finger from Frank Smith.
"I'm done, I'm sorry. He's taking credit for it because I hit him on the elbow but that would be a tough fight."
Bjornsson recently defeated fellow former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall in a contest they branded ‘the heaviest boxing match in history’, with both fighters weighing a combined 47 stone. The 6’9” Icelandic giant beat his opponent 57-54 on points.
A rematch could be in store with Hall having to recover from a torn bicep in the lead up which forced the contest to be pushed back. Speaking after his win, Bjornsson said: “Understandably he (Hall) seemed a bit angry still. He lost the fight so it’s understandable as well.
“But I’m happy, if he wants the rematch I’ll take a rematch no problem.” Hearn will instead be putting his focus into helping fighter Whyte prepare for an all-British WBC title fight with undefeated heavyweight champion Fury at a sold-out Wembley Stadium next month.
