Eddie Hearn in "sweet cheeks" text message exchange with Tyson Fury

Eddie Hearn has revealed Tyson Fury texted him as soon as the last ticket was sold for his clash with Dillian Whyte.

Fury will defend his WBC heavyweight title against Whyte at Wembley on April 23, but was forced to attend a press event on his own as his rival's silence continues.

However despite Whyte's lack of promotion of the event, tickets were sold in around 3 hours with the event completely selling out the 90,000 capacity stadium.

Hearn has claimed that he likes Fury despite receiving goading messages from the heavyweight champion.

"Fury was messaging me last night with a clip of me saying it wouldn't sell out like 'ha'," Hearn told iFL TV. "I just think I should be more caring and I think I'll get some nice photos done of me to send to Frank and Tyson.

"Again Tyson doesn't have to worry about me, it's very cute I said to him, 'It's very cute that you are thinking about me sweet cheeks' see you soon' is what I replied or something like that.

"I get a couple of missed calls when he is out and about, I think there was once when he was in London with Chisora recently and I saw him when he was in his hotel in Vegas. I actually like Tyson Fury I don't mind him at all.

"He is a lot different in person than what you see on social media and is actually a very knowledgable boxing head. Last time I was with him he actually went through our entire stable, I have no problem with him.

"I do find it funny that they think of me I am over here busy doing Canelo, when he sent me that video I just replied with that head-to-head of Canelo and said, 'Sorry I am busy at the moment'."

Hearn has previously promoted Whyte on multiple occasions but currently has limited involvement with the fight.

Fury has attempted to entice his rival into a social media battle in the build-up to the fight but Whyte has continued to remain silent with his noticeable absence from the press conference.

Despite the fight selling out, Fury has had to take on media duties by himself and had to face-off with a poster of Whyte at Wembley Stadium.

The Matchroom Boxing kingpin has admitted he believes Fury is "out of control" after Whyte's no-show after Fury blamed Hearn for his lack of attendance.

" Tyson Fury can say what he wants but I wouldn't tell someone to not attend a press conference," Hearn told the MMA Hour.

"Whether there is mind games from Dillian Whyte, I do think it is interesting to see Fury out of control; they don't really know what they are doing here.

"Maybe it is mind games from Dillian I don't know but he is going to do his own thing quite frankly."
