Eddie Hearn has claimed Tyson Fury's team have reached out to Derek Chisora over a trilogy bout in December.
Fury and Chisora have shared the ring twice on two previous occasions during their heavyweight careers with the 'Gypsy King' getting the upper hand back in 2011 and 2014 respectively. Recently tensions were raised between the pair when Chisora was made 'homeless' after betting his house on Dillian Whyte knocking out his friend Fury during their April clash, which backfired.
The 'Gypsy King' later indicated that he is longer friends with his former two-time rival and admitted he would be willing to do battle with Chisora for a third time. Matchroom Boxing promoter Hearn believes that a fight between his client Anthony Joshua and Fury will also happen irrespective of any other offers.
"I know that someone from Tyson's team has also reached out to Chisora about a potential fight in December," Hearn said when assessing Fury's offer to fight Joshua for free in an interview with iFL TV. "Who knows? Whether he is going to come back I don't know.
"But I believe that AJ-Fury will happen and this will be the biggest fight in the history of the sport. Tyson's brilliant, he is a character and what he has come back from incredible. Jokes aside he is funny but I just take what he says with a pinch of salt."
Chisora recently defeated Kubrat Pulev to breathe new life into his heavyweight career, and immediately called out Fury's former trilogy rival Wilder in the aftermath. A trilogy between Chisora and Fury would likely be very popular on domestic shores, but the WBC champion has previously stated he is retired from professional competition.

Fury was angered by Chisora's comments ahead of his victory over Whyte, and despite his former friend's efforts to reconcile at his after party, the 33-year-old wants nothing more to do with 'WAR'. “I thought Derek did absolutely fantastic [against Pulev]. However, me and Derek Chisora used to be chum buddies. I went to Monaco to support him. I went to Hamburg to support him,” Fury told talkSPORT Fight Night. “Then, as soon as I have a fight he goes, ‘I’ll pick the other guy’.
"So, Derek Chisora can kiss my a*** and if I see him I’m going to punch him in the face. After the fight, he came to the afterparty and said this, that, and the other, made a million excuses. At the end of the day, you don’t do that to your friends. If you’re friends with somebody, you back them.
"You don’t go with the other guy who you don’t like anyway, you go with your friend. After what he did, backing Dillian Whyte to knock me out, having his house on it and all that, how confident he was, we ain’t friends anymore. And when I see you, Derek, you’ve got me to fight.”
