Ed Sheeran has headed straight for the capital following two sell-out shows at Sunderland's Stadium of Light, to perform a tribute for Queen Elizabeth II at her Platinum Jubilee Pageant.
The pop music sensation has already performed to some 115,000 fans in the North East this weekend, but will perform on the world stage at around 5pm on Sunday with a tribute to the queen and her late husband, Prince Philip.
Sheeran will take to the streets of London shortly before the National Anthem is performed as today's carnival comes to a close - choosing to play hit song Perfect while various images of the pair married for 73 years fill the big screen behind him.

This performance comes following the Duke of Edinburgh's death in April last year during the global coronavirus pandemic - with Prince Philip passing away at the age of 99. The Platinum Jubilee this week has marked the first milestone that Queen Elizabeth II has had to celebrate as a widow, since succeeding her father King George VI to the throne in 1952.
Today's three-kilometre parade will begin outside of Westminster Palace at 2.30pm - with the Gold State Coach leading the way. on the route through Whitehall, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace and St James' Park.
At the event itself, Ed Sheeran will be joined by a number of other performers and famous faces, all playing their part in honouring the 75-year reign of Britain's longest leading monarch. Sir Cliff Richard, Jeremy Irons, Gary Lineker and Kadeena Cox are all among the celebrities taking part in the festivities, with a number of further acts also taking place.
A military unit of 1,750 foot soldiers and 200 horses will be present for a parade, a 20 foot puppet resembling the queen and her corgis in her younger days, 80 dancers, and a gospel choir will also feature in the fantastic tribute - jam packed to the brim with entertainment from start to finish.
Coverage of the event will begin on BBC One from 1pm, with a roundup from Kirsty Young taking place on BBC Two at 8pm.
