Ed Sheeran was spotted serving hotdogs at Chicago’s The Wieners Circle which is known for “serving up high quality street food with a side of insults”.

Over the weekend, the 32-year-old singer visited the famous hot dog stand and served food to his fans.

In a video shared on social media, one of the employees of the restaurant announced: “We’re gonna have Ed Sheeran here at the motherf***ing Wiener’s Circle and I’m gonna teach that wanker how to make a f***ing hot dog.”

The same worker then continued with the friendly insults and asked Sheeran to “shut the f*** up” and “shove [a hotdog] up your a**.”

The “Photograph” singer handed out hotdogs to customers with a big smile on his face.

“Served hot dogs at @wienerscircle today,” Sheeran wrote alongside the video on Instagram.

He added: “This place is legendary [in] Chicago for serving hot dogs and insulting their customers. I loved it. See you at the stadium tonight x.”

The Wieners Circle also shared a footage of Sheeran, writing: “Our newest trainee @edsheeran⁩ has a lot to learn. He’s way too proper and friendly.”

Last week, Sheeran played shows at the Chicago Theatre and Soldier Field, where he broke the all-time attendance record.

“Chicago! We’ve broken the ticket record for tonight,” he told the crowd, according to a tweet from the venue. “This is the largest concert that’s ever been here. There’s 73,000 of you here tonight! Thank you so much for giving me your Saturday night.”

Earlier this month, Sheeran brought out Eminem as a surprise guest during his concert in Detroit.

During the concert at Ford Field on15 July, Sheeran told the crowd that he’s going to play the cover of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself”.

As the crowd started catching up to the beat, Eminem appeared on stage and began performing his song with Sheeran.

The two also belted out Eminem’s 2000 hit “Stan”.

Sheeran released his new album Subtract (-) in May this year. Read The Independent’s three-star review of the album here.
