Ed Sheeran in Sunderland - timings, support acts and ticket information

The excitement is building for Ed Sheeran fans as Sunderland prepares to host two of the stand-out gigs of the summer.

The Shape Of You star and Thinking Out Loud star will be whipping up the crowds at Stadium of Light on two nights - June 3 and 4 - over the Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend. He had initially planned a trio of treats for his city debut but then cancelled a third gig, planned for June 2, due to a 'scheduling conflict'.

It was then reported Sheeran was to have a role to play in the Queen's Jubilee celebrations planned for the same week. He's stopping off in Sunderland on his latest tour, The Mathematics Tour, named + - = ÷ x - which references the titles of his previous albums, including the most recent called = which came out last year.
