Drivers are facing severe delays on the M4 on Friday with 15 miles of traffic blocking a key route near Bristol.
Queues are expected to continue into Friday evening (May 27) on the M4 westbound route amid half term getaways and as fans head to an Ed Sheeran concert at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
Traffic reporting system Inrix currently predicts travel time at one hour and 35 minutes as congestion builds between junction 22 - by the M49 interchange and the Prince of Wales Bridge - and junction 26, Malpas Road. There are reports the queues for the concert are trailing back as far as the Ed Sheeran concert.

In an update, Inrix said: "Severe delays and queueing traffic for 15 miles due to holiday traffic and traffic heading to an Ed Sheeran Concert at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on M4 Westbound between J22 (M49 interchange / Prince of Wales Bridge) and J26 A4051 (Malpas Road).

Traffic queues were also reported along the same route on Thursday as fans made their way to the Sheeran concert in Cardiff. WalesOnline reported 'absolute chaos' as people tried to leave the city after last night's show.
There was also heavy traffic on the M4 eastbound earlier today due to a crash just after junction 18 for Bath and Tormanton. One out of three lanes were closed due to the incident.
Elsewhere in the region, there was very slow traffic on the M5 after a crash closed one lane between junction 10 and junction 9 in Gloucestershire.
