Ed Balls gobsmacked as Judi Love shares bizarre solution for tackling body odour

Good Morning Britain host Ed Balls was shocked on Monday's show when Judi Love shared her solution for dealing with body odour.

The 42-year-old star joined Ed and his co-host Ranvir Singh in the ITV studio to discuss her show Work In Progress, but the conversation soon turned to the UK heatwave.

Ranvir, 44, was confused as to why Judi had brought a can of deodorant and a bowl of sweet potato onto the set, but she soon explained her reasons for doing so.

"Now most people have a croissant for breakfast, but you appear to have brought a bowl full of sweet potato and some deodorant?" Ranvir commented.

Judi replied: "For those who are going out into the sun, please wear your deodorant coz it's hard for us, especially when we're in close proximity with each other," Judi explained.

"And this sweet potato, you can boil it, make it cool and put it under your armpit if you've got an odour issue," she continued.

"What?!" Ranvir asked sounding shocked as Ed commented: "And have those been under your armpits yet or...?"

"No! You have to boil it, mash it, let it cool a little bit, Just put it under your armpit and let it draw out the stench!" she replied before adding: "It's an old school method. All I'm saying is, it's hot today, put something under your armpits okay!"

Ed then asked: "Do you find twerking while wearing sweet potato is also cooling?"
