Ecco burst onto the golf scene in 1994 and have since built a solid reputation for well-built, long-lasting shoes that prioritize comfort and foot health. The Women's LT1 continues this legacy and is a fantastic addition to Ecco's line ahead of the the 2024 season. So with out further ado, how did they test...

Let's start with the Ecco Lytr. The Ecco Lytr is an advanced bounce and rebound foam that has been embedded into the sole via their signature Fluidform™ technology. This makes for a versatile shoe that you can use seamlessly between the course, clubhouse and beyond—a great hybrid golf shoe.
Putting technology to aside; how did they test? Well, full disclosure, I have not got the best feet, I often find myself in-between sizes 7 and 8 so usually opt for a 7.5 to be safe. That said, The LT1’s fitted brilliantly and felt very comfortable and supportive. This is likely to do with Ecco's Ortholite® insole. This is a great feature for women who have tricky feet like mine. The OrthoLite® insole is removable, so you can replace them with your own insoles if needs be.

On testing day, the course was surprisingly dry. From tee to green, the shoes felt stable and when I did play some shots from wetter ground I didn't lose grip nor did my feet get wet, thanks to the leather waterproof uppers.
Of course, looks matter.
Box fresh these are a great looking shoe. They look slick, stylish and sturdy. Though I use the word 'sturdy' with caution as it is often associated with meaning cumbersome and heavy. Personally, I found them reassuringly sturdy but my feet suffer in shoes that are too light and flimsy. The LT1’s are available in three colors all of a light variety; white with a clear sole, white with a bubble pink sole and a matcha green with a gum sole.
My only concern with the light colors and the pattern on the leather uppers are the potential for them to stain and retain dust and dirt, which could make them trickier to clean. Though, that really is only a minor con especially when you consider the quality of shoe you're getting for $170. For me, an investment in Ecco shoes is always money well-spent.
