Ecco, long-time Danish footwear and leather goods maker, has opened up a beautiful design studio in the Brooklyn Navy Yard in Brooklyn, New York. The design studio is 7,000 square feet and was opened to combine footwear industry professionals with creatives to inspire new footwear and bag designs.
This is the first endeavor of its kind in the US for Ecco and the space will allow the company to develop relationships with wholesalers, vendors, designers, and other enthusiasts.
Ecco was founded in 1963 and its open-door philosophy stands to this day. The studio will welcome industry allies to learn more about innovations in sustainability and material technologies relevant to Ecco’s specialties.
Ecco held a media event at the studio where journalists and other personalities in the golf and fashion space were invited to learn more about Ecco’s technology and business.
