The Eaton Fire, which is currently terrorizing communities around Pasadena and Altadena, California, has resulted in the evacuation of tens of thousands of people from their homes. As of mid-morning Wednesday, approximately 32,500 residents were under evacuation orders, as confirmed by Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna. This number represents a decrease from the initial evacuation count of over 50,000 residents that occurred overnight, according to Angeles National Forest officials.

Despite the reduced evacuation numbers, the threat posed by the Eaton Fire remains significant, with more than 13,000 structures still at risk, as highlighted by Sheriff Luna. The fire has prompted a massive response from emergency services and firefighting agencies to contain and extinguish the blaze, which has been spreading rapidly in the region.
