EasyJet has warned passengers flying from Manchester Airport to arrive earlier than usual.
Usually, travellers are recommended to arrive two hours prior to departure for UK and European flights. However, due to recent airport issues across the country, easyJet is asking passengers to come earlier.
In a message to customers travelling to European destinations, easyJet says Manchester Airport may be "busier than usual". They proceed to then ask passengers to arrive two hours and 30 minutes before departure.

easyJet said: "The airport may be busier than usual and we recommend that you arrive at MAN airport 2.5 hours before your flight time, when bag drop opens. Please don’t arrive earlier than the bag drop opening time as this may cause congestion at the airport
"Please have your bags ready before you go through security, making sure that any liquids are carried in a see-through and resealable bag, and that any electronic items are carried separately.
"The boarding gate will close promptly 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Please share this message with any other customers who are travelling with you."
