easyJet reveals brand-new route from Scottish Airport

A well-known airline has revealed a new route from Glasgow Airport.

easyJet has launched "the first flights and package holidays'" on a new year-round route from the city's airport to Prague in the Czech Republic.

The new twice-weekly service began on Thursday, November 7. It will operate every Thursday and Sunday throughout the year.

As part of the route, travellers will be able to explore Prague and visit its famous landmarks including its medieval Astronomical Clock.

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK country manager, said: “Scottish travellers will love our new service from Glasgow to Prague, offering them more travel options than ever before, so they can explore this and other top city break destinations across our network throughout the year.

“With thousands of package holidays across beach and city breaks available via easyJet holidays, there’s something for everyone.”

Mark Beveridge, managing director of Glasgow Airport, said: “Today marks an exciting milestone for Glasgow Airport as we celebrate the inaugural flight to Prague with our valued airline partner, easyJet.

“This new route not only strengthens our connectivity with one of Europe’s most enchanting cities but also opens up fantastic opportunities for both leisure and business travellers.

"We’re thrilled to offer passengers more choice as we continue expanding our network and enhancing Glasgow’s connectivity.”
