An easyJet plane was 'surrounded by police' on the runway after the pilot made an emergency landing on Wednesday afternoon (April 19).
The flight, from Liverpool to Dalaman, Turkey, was met by officers after being forced to land in Munich. It was later confirmed the reason was due to two passengers behaving 'disruptively' on board.
Eyewitnesses told the ECHO that the two passengers left the plane with officers after landing and that there was a large police presence at the scene.

The Airbus set off from Liverpool John Lennon Airport at 1.06pm on Wednesday, April 19 but just over two hours into the journey, the flight began circling over Munich before making an emergency landing at 4.19pm Central European Summer Time (CEST).
Fellow passengers on the flight said they felt 'unsafe' with the 'drama' that unfolded on the plane. One eyewitness said the easyJet crew were 'very professional and calm' when dealing with the incident.
The passenger, who asked to remain anonymous, said: "Just under an hour into the flight the trouble started. Many passengers found it disturbing and felt unsafe with the drama unfolding.
"This went on for some time, the cabin crew tried to intervene and then the captain decided to make an emergency landing at Munich to remove the guy, German police boarded the plane and removed them. There was a large presence of police both on the plane and also on the tarmac."
Another tweeted: "Please thank the crew of flight U2 3409, who dealt with a very hostile man on board. Calm, professional and managed not to escalate the situation further before our diversion to Munich, and the arrival of the police. Thank you."
A spokesperson from easyJet said: "easyJet can confirm that the flight EZY3409 from Liverpool to Dalaman on 19 April diverted to Munich and was met by police due to two passengers behaving disruptively onboard.
"easyJet’s cabin crew are trained to assess and evaluate all situations and to act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers is not compromised at any time.
“Whilst such incidents are rare we take them very seriously and do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour onboard. The safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew is always easyJet's priority.”
