An easyJet plane made an emergency landing in Liverpool yesterday.
The flight travelling between London Stansted and Belfast International was diverted to Liverpool John Lennon Airport because of a "medical emergency." An easyJet spokesperson said a passenger required medical attention from paramedics.
They were met by emergency services on arrival in Liverpool. Flight radars picked up that the flight EZY40 declared an emergency around an hour after leaving on Sunday, May 7.

The plane was over the Irish Sea at around 5.20pm when it diverted. After landing in Liverpool, the flight continued "safely" to Belfast.
A spokesperson for EasyJet said: "easyJet can confirm that flight EZY40 from London Stansted to Belfast diverted to Liverpool on 7 May 2023 due to a passenger on board requiring urgent medical assistance.
"Paramedics met the aircraft on arrival in Liverpool and the flight has since landed safely in Belfast. The safety and wellbeing of our customers and crew is our highest priority."
