Nobody wants to be on a plane with unruly and drunken passengers.
Though alcohol and airports go hand in hand for many - killing time at an airport bar or taking advantage of the prices in duty free - there is no place for unruly behaviour and drunkenness, especially when you're 30,000 feet in the air.
There are a number of laws in place to deter airline passengers from going too far. However, this has not stopped certain people from causing chaos on flights.

Earlier this week, a man told the ECHO he would never fly with easyJet again after two "intoxicated" women caused "drunken chaos" on an easyJet flight from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to the Netherlands. One of the women began rapping about her partner, who is in HMP Altcourse.
Those unruly passengers are not the only ones to have ruined travel for others. Here, we list passengers on easyJet flights that nobody would want to share a flight with.
'Drunken chaos' as passenger rapped about partner in Altcourse
A man vowed never to fly with easyJet again after a "horrifying" flight from Liverpool to Amsterdam.
Two "intoxicated" women ruined the flight from Liverpool to Amsterdam by screaming, rapping and shouting abuse at their fellow passengers. Mr Campbell was flying to Amsterdam with a friend to celebrate her recent promotion at work but he said the EasyJet flight on January 30, 2022. was a nightmare.
He told the ECHO as they boarded the flight they could hear "shouting and rapping" from the passengers behind. He thought they were just "excited" but soon realised the women were "intoxicated".
He said: "Before the plane had even finished boarding, one of the women stood up shouting random obscenities and rapping about her partner who is in HMP Altcourse.
"The pair continued to shout, drink and disrupt throughout the pre-flight safety briefing, so much so that despite it being described through the announcement system, I could hear nothing. My concerns increased at this point, if people cannot hear the instructions to escape in an emergency, what chaos and dangers would ensue if there was actually an issue?"
Mr Campbell said eventually staff managed to address the disruption which then led to "homophobic abuse" being shouted. He said: "Towards the end of the flight, things had gotten so bad that another passenger took it upon himself to sit next to the women and attempt to calm them down."
But the shouting and swearing continued as Mr Campbell, who works for the Ministry of Justice, claimed the female passengers attempted to shout obscenities at other passengers
He said: "I am horrified that my safety, my friend's safety and the safety of 100 plus other people were put in jeopardy because EasyJet staff would rather allow others to endure homophobic abuse during a safety briefing and full flight, rather than get told off by a manager. This shows total disregard for the people paying to be on their flight.
"I will never fly with EasyJet again, I am appalled. I would urge others that understand the severity of these actions to think twice before even considering a flight or services from EasyJet. If you do use them and have a problem, do not expect a personalised reply, any sort of explanation or recompense."
A spokesperson for EasyJet said the safety of staff and customers is of "highest priority", adding: "We are sorry to hear about Mr Campbell’s experience and are in touch with him to understand more about his flight as we do not tolerate any abusive or threatening behaviour onboard. The safety and wellbeing of our customers is our highest priority and our cabin crew are trained to assess all situations and ensure the welfare of all onboard."

Drunk passenger attacked stewardess
The partner of a drunk easyJet passenger said she told him "not to drink that whisky" before he attacked a stewardess mid-flight.
Colin Smith was warned by the stewardess to be careful after she spotted him standing up when the plane was due to land. The 51-year-old, who was travelling from Manchester Airport to Malta, gave the stewardess a "vacant" stare.
The Manchester Evening News reported that he then grabbed her by the neck with both hands. Manchester Crown Court heard the woman managed to get away from Smith but the 51-year-old tried to hit her again.
In an attempt to defend herself, she pushed Smith back and he fell onto two seated passengers, and was restrained. The stewardess asked Smith's partner if he had any health issues as he lashed out at her.
His partner said: “I told him not to drink that whisky” on March 28 last year. When he returned to the UK a week later on a Jet2 flight, he was arrested and made full admissions.
Smith said he bought two bottles of Famous Grouse whisky in duty free and had sunk three quarters of one bottle during the journey, describing himself as being "nine out of 10 drunk". In a victim personal statement read to the court, the woman described feeling upset and anxious.
Smith, of Woodland End, Hull, East Yorkshire, pleaded guilty to assault and being drunk on an aircraft at an earlier hearing. On Monday, January 16 Judge Tina Landale sentenced him to six months imprisonment.

Drunk people smoke in toilets and abuse passengers
A holidaymaker experienced "the flight from hell" after his plane was diverted due to a drunk couple smoking cigarettes in the toilet.
Hans Mahrla was travelling from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Tenerife for his first holiday away since the beginning of the pandemic. But his flight was diverted to Lisbon in Portugal after a couple got drunk, smoked cigarettes in the plane toilet, and abused fellow passengers and members of staff.
Mr Mahrla, from Ormskirk, told the ECHO the behaviour of the two passengers was "shameful" and the rest of the plane experienced "the flight from hell". The 49-year-old said everything on the flight seemed to be going fine and the pilot announced they were ahead of schedule.
But he added a couple sitting a number of rows behind started acting rowdily after purchasing and drinking a large quantity of alcohol from duty free. They also allegedly smoked in the toilet.
Mr Mahrla told the ECHO: "We were making good time and then some time mid flight a couple were obviously drinking too much. An announcement was made telling people they should not be drinking duty free stuff and smoking was also prohibited on the plane.
"Next thing we know they closed the toilets at the back of the plane because they found cigarette butts in there. Ten minutes later the pilot said we were landing in Lisbon - the woman started to kick off and threaten other passengers. There was quite a bit of commotion on the plane."
The couple were led off the plane but as the flight eventually went to leave an hour-and-a-half later another issue arose when a "comatose" man tried to go to the toilet. The man was forced back by staff but urinated all over his seat.
Mr Mahrla added it was "pouring down the row behind him". The man was looked after by his friends who stayed behind once the plane had landed.
Mr Mahrla said easyJet's staff were "brilliant and very professional" throughout the ordeal. The staff were "very apologetic" but passengers "all felt safe on the flight".

Easyjet passengers cheered as drunk and abusive grandma was arrested on runway
Passengers on an Easyjet flight to Liverpool cheered as a drunken and abusive grandma was arrested on the runway.
Grandmother-of-four Rosemary Elizabeth Ben-Allee, 60, had drunk three small bottles of red wine when she called fellow passengers “c****” and refused to sit down on the flight from Alicante to John Lennon Airport. Ben-Allee, of Dorset Road in Tuebrook, pleaded guilty to being drunk on an aircraft, an offence under the Air Navigation Order 2009, at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court in September 2016.
The court heard the flight landed at Liverpool airport at 2.30am on August 4 2016, and had 142 passengers on-board.
David Maxwell, prosecuting, said: “Upon landing at Liverpool the captain requested police to attend immediately due to a drunken and disruptive female passenger. Officers arrived at the aircraft and were informed the defendant was being disruptive and had refused to remain seated.”
The court heard she had been calling other passengers c**** and had told them to “f*** off” during the flight. When police officers approached Ben-Allee, they noted she was leaning on a seat, had glazed eyes and smelled of alcohol.
Mr Maxwell said: “The other passengers cheered when they saw the police on the aircraft.”
Ben-Allee was sentenced to a 28 day community order and tagged to remain indoors between 7pm and 7am. She was also ordered to pay £85 prosecution costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

Woman downed litre of vodka on EasyJet flight
A drunken EasyJet passenger launched a bottle of Fanta over her boyfriend and told a steward "I will smash your face in."
Donika Browne, 20, screamed abuse at her boyfriend and refused to move seats after downing almost a full litre bottle of vodka within 40 minutes of take-off. Browne, of Cairns Street in Toxteth, pleaded guilty to a charge of being drunk in an aircraft and one of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards an air crew at Liverpool Magistrates' Court in March 2019.
The business student had boarded the flight, from Barcelona to Liverpool John Lennon Airport, with her boyfriend on March 4 and was overheard remarking that she had bought the vodka from duty-free. Natalie Cassidy, prosecuting, told the court the crew heard the couple talking loudly through the safety demonstrations but there were no major problems for around 40 minutes.
Ms Cassidy said: "The crew became aware of the defendant and noticed her partner had a nose bleed. They then witnessed the defendant walking to and from the toilet while unsteady on her feet.
"She appeared to have a disagreement with her boyfriend and began shouting and swearing. The defendant was asked to move and she did."
As she moved the crew noticed the almost empty vodka bottle under her seat.
Ms Cassidy said: "She then threatened to 'smash your face in' as she stared at a cabin crew member. The defendant then threw the contents of a plastic bottle of Fanta, and some splashed the passengers behind."
When cabin crew tried to move her again Browne replied if she was made to move "she would flip and cause havoc." Browne eventually agreed to move seats when the stewards warned her the flight could be diverted. She remained calm for the remainder of the flight and was arrested at Liverpool Airport.
The chief magistrate told Browne: "You're clearly aware of the stupidity of this and the consequences. As a court we are concerned about the other passengers."
Browne was fined £50 and ordered to pay £85 prosecution costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
