Four passengers had to be removed from a Belfast to Malaga flight this week which caused knock-on delays for other flights.
Spanish police boarded the plane as it landed at Malaga airport on Thursday with airline easyJet confirming that they were removed for "behaving disruptively" onboard.
In a statement, an easyJet spokesperson apologised to customers who were inconvenienced by the situation.

"easyJet can confirm that flight EZY3016 from Belfast to Malaga on 15 th June was met by police due to four passengers behaving disruptively onboard," they added.
“easyJet’s cabin crew are trained to assess and evaluate all situations and to act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers is not compromised at any time.
"Whilst this was outside of our control we’d like to apologise to customers on the return flight for any inconvenience caused by the delay whilst the situation was dealt with.
“Whilst such incidents are rare we take them very seriously and do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour onboard.
“The safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew is always easyJet's priority."
