easyJet, Ryanair and more launch February 2023 holiday deals at Liverpool Airport

Travellers looking to get away for February can take advantage of some great deals currently on offer at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

February can be an ideal time to take a last minute holiday, especially after the Christmas rush. Those looking to enjoy a romantic break away for Valentine's Day, or want to spend some quality time with the kids during the half-term break can explore a vast array of options at Liverpool Airport.

Holidaymakers can choose short-haul flights from the airport with plenty of destinations to explore, from city breaks in Rome to lazy days on the beach at Tenerife. The most popular destinations for travellers flying from Liverpool Airport are Ireland and Spain but there are a range of destinations to suit all tastes.

easyJet, Ryanair, Wizz Air, Blue Air, Loganair and more all fly from here and we've rounded up some of the best deals you can book right now from Liverpool Airport for February, 2023.

Antalya, Turkey

Liverpool Airport flies to Antalya in Turkey with easyJet. The area reaches maximum temperatures of 16C and while this is one of the coldest months, the weather is great for exploring beyond the beach and taking in the historic sights.

Known as the eastern gateway to the Turquoise Coast, Antalya is a gorgeous mix of forests and mountains with scatterings of ancient Greek and Roman ruins with mesmerising hiking routes and romantic old quarters full of food, music and boutique hotels.

The flight time is four hours and 25 minutes and the most noteworthy places to visit in the area are The Konyaalti Beach, Hadrian’s Gate ( a dramatic entrance gate into the Kaleiϛi district, erected in honour of the AD 130 visit of Emperoro Hadrian) and Old Harbour, which used to be Antalya’s major economic hub however, now it is a hub of tranquillity and picturesque huddles of cafes, shops and bazaars.

The cheapest price we have found for the area is with easyJet at £320pp. That price is for both flights and accommodation at the Sun City Apartments in Side, Antalya.

The self-catering apartments are close to the beach and also feature an outdoor pool, bar, restaurant, kids club and spa treatments. The £320pp price is based on two people flying from Liverpool on February 16 for seven nights, with hold bags and transfers included.

For £69pp more a couple can get this deal to the Viking Nona Beach complex for seven nights on February 16. The hotel has a beach front location which is private and there are plenty of water sport activities as well as nightly live music to indulge in.

For a family of four, this resort in Antalya is a good option from £435pp, which includes flights, transfers, an all inclusive board and four hold bag, flying from Liverpool on February, 16. The Limak Limra Hotel and resort has been given a five star rating and is rated great for families.

Offering four outdoor pools, a beach front location, a packed programme of activities for kids and families as well as a lush spa, the resort promises to cater for all ages. The hotel offers an extensive array of facilities specifically-tailored for kids, including a mini club, handcraft workshops, cartoon screenings, and a splash pool with fun waterslides.

Paris, France

France's capital city is a popular destination from Liverpool Airport due to its short flight time. Holidaymakers who choose this destination for their February getaway can get there in just 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The fashionable capital city offers a romantic city break as well as a fantastic European break for families too. Along with jaw-dropping architecture dating back for almost a millennium, the city is renowned for its contributions to global culture, arts, fashion and cuisine.

No trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the landmarks it’s famous for; the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, River Seine and Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris are just some of sights you should catch a glimpse of on your trip. Whether you’re looking to pay a visit to the Mona Lisa or take the trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower, Paris sightseeing is a must.

Flights from Liverpool John Lennon Airport are direct with Ryanair and there are currently plenty of deals on offer for February, 2023. The airline has flights for just £29pp one-way to Paris on February 18 and a return will cost £50 on February 21, totalling at £79pp.

Hotels can be a bit more pricey in Paris at this time of year, especially around Valentine's Day but if you head to the city of love after the big day then costs reduce by nearly £500.

The Austin's Saint Lazare Hotel costs £535 for two people for three nights on February 18. The double room offers a city view and there's also breakfast included. Booking.com is also popular with travellers who choose to book their flights and accommodation separately due to their free cancellation policy and options to pay later at the hotel.

If you're after something a little cheaper then there are plenty of well reviewed hostels that work out at £319 for two people over three nights, this hostel has its own fitness centre, terrace and city views. Or there's the ibis Paris Bastille Opera for £386 for two people over three nights, which also allows pets, and is located in the city centre, just 600 yards from Place de la Bastille.

Disneyland Paris (Eurostar)

easyJet also has deals from Liverpool to see the popular Disneyland Paris resort. A family of four can get this room only hotel in Disneyland Paris with return flights for £429pp for four nights on February 20. Or there's the Best Western Hotel in Disneyland Paris for a family of four for £363pp.

Majorca, Spain

Whether it’s a quick weekend away with the other half or some well-deserved me time you’re after, there’s definitely something for everyone in Palma, Majorca.

Overlooking the gorgeous Mediterranean Sea and with a coast covered in chic beach clubs, Palma’s bustling atmosphere is one of a kind. The architecture and surroundings are both sophisticated and cultured, making it a must-see location for the most avid of travellers.

Playa de Palma plays host to the island’s most coveted resorts set out along the many miles of beautiful golden sand. Day trips to the likes of Valldemossa, Rancho Grande and the Caves of Drach also reveal the true rural attractiveness of this Spanish island.

Travellers can fly direct from Liverpool Airport with easyJet and Ryanair, with a flight time of just two hours and 30 minutes. Temperatures in Majorca for February average around 15C, so it's still quite mild, this drops to 6C at night though, so you should bring some warmer clothes for the evenings.

easyJet has some good deals on Majorca holidays from Liverpool in February. Travellers can get this package deal for £416pp for flights and accommodation. The Catalonia Majorica hotel in Palma Bay is in a perfect location for those wanting to explore Es Baluard and Juan Miro Foundation.

The deal includes transfers, 23kg hold luggage and is for seven nights on February 10. It is a room only option but there are options to upgrade.

For those wanting an all inclusive option, easyJet has the Mar Hotels Playa Mar and Spa in Puerto Pollensa for £645pp from February 10 for seven nights. The package deal includes a suite with a pool view, a private transfer, and 23kg bags.

The hotel, which also boasts a near five star rating on TripAdvisor, has been listed as great for families too and currently has £183 off the price. You can see more Majorca deals here.

Dublin, Ireland

Flying with Ryanair, Liverpool John Lennon Airport can get you over to Dublin faster than you can say "céad míle fáilte". As The Republic of Ireland’s capital city, Dublin is the perfect choice for a city break, giving you the opportunity to immerse yourself in its vibrant culture.

With a 45 minute journey time, Dublin is one of Liverpool Airport's most popular routes with travellers. With buildings dating all the way back to 988 AD, the city is rich with both history and character, not to mention the old-fashioned pubs that are dotted across the city.

Dublin also has more green space per square kilometre than any other capital city in Europe, so for those who love the fresh air in their lungs, we’d suggest a visit to Phoenix Park.

For two people, Ryanair has flights to Dublin from Liverpool for just £17.80 on February 15, with a return costing just £19.31 on February 18, which totals at £74.22 for two, or £148.44 for a family of four.

Booking.com also has accommodation starting from as low as £182 for two people, with most hotels averaging around £400 to £500 for three nights for two people. Castle Hotel is described as an elegant Georgian hotel in Dublin city centre which is just a two minute walk from O' Connell Street and very close to the popular tourist attraction, the Temple Bar.

If you're after something historic then the Riu Plaza is available to book for £577 from February 15 for three nights for two people. The deal includes breakfast, free cancellation and no pre-payment needed. Situated in the heart of Dublin city centre in a historic building, Riu Plaza's The Gresham Hotel benefits from its own restaurant 'Toddy's', and a bar.

If you're on a budget then there are plenty of cheaper options on Booking.com like this apartment which is managed by a private host for £183, or this villa holiday home for three nights for £189.

Larnaca, Cyprus

Larnaca in Cyprus has both rugged unexplored coastline and beautiful sandy beaches as far as the eye can see. If you’re looking for a beach holiday that offers plenty of excursions and activities, Protaras is a described as a great place to visit as you can take boat trips to the protected natural park, Cape Greco, or even stop off at the eerie ghost town of Varosha, which has been deserted since the 70s.

For those looking for a spot of relaxation then there's Nissi Beach and the surrounding area is full of tavernas and the beach itself is regularly commended on the world’s top beaches list. If you want to let your hair down while on holiday, Ayia Napa is a must for some all-night dancing.

The flight time to Larnaca from Liverpool Airport is four hours and 45 minutes with easyJet. Average temperatures here in February are around 12C with highs of a mild of 17C in the afternoon. After dark the temperature drops to a chilly 7°C, so you'll need to wrap up warm for evenings out at the local bars and restaurants.

On the Beach has this deal for £536pp for Larnaca Bay but it's not the cheapest. It is the most recommended on their site though, and has a five-star rating, spa and sea front views, with a board of bed and breakfast, for seven nights from February 21, with flights from Liverpool Airport.

The cheapest we have seen though for the same dates is for this Sea CleoNapa Annex is Ayia Napa for £240pp over seven nights, which includes bed and breakfast and flights from Liverpool Airport with easyJet. Or there's this Tsokkos Constantinos hotel for £724 all together for two people, a half-board basis, flights and a twin side sea view room.

Reykjavik, Iceland

The world’s northernmost capital, Reykjavik is your gateway to Iceland - a country renowned for its natural beauty - where you can see waterfalls, glaciers, volcanos, geothermal pools and much more.

Whilst scenic excellence can be found throughout Iceland, many travellers base themselves in Reykjavik, a capital packed with fabulous attractions and great places to eat and drink. From Liverpool, travellers can get here in just two hours and 50 minutes with airline, Play.

Winter is when Reykjavik tends to be at its most popular, primarily due to the season being the best opportunity to see the famous Northern Lights. However, many flock to this island nation in the summer to enjoy a midnight sun where, on Polar Day, it remains visible for a full 24 hours.

In February you can see the Northern Lights as the days are still short and the nights are long which gives you more chances to see the colours against the dark skies of winter.

From February 6, two adults can get a flight for £66pp one-way, with a return costing £64.80pp on February 10. A family of four can get flights from £38 on February 27, 2023.

In terms of accommodation when you are there, there are plenty of options to choose from on Booking.com but they are on the expensive side. The cheapest we have seen for two adults, over four nights on February 6, is this guesthouse for £241. For a family of four the price jumps to £482.

The next cheapest is this Bus Hostel for £260 or this guesthouse for £288. The most recommended is this Reykjavik Residence Apartment Hotel for £670 which includes breakfast, and a city view. You can see all of Iceland's accommodation options for February here.
