An easyJet flight bound for the UK was diverted following fears that a bomb had been planted on the plane.
The flight from Poland had been due to arrive in Bristol on Sunday night.
However, the pilots were forced to make an emergency landing in Prague so that police could sweep the Airbus for signs of explosives.
Prague Airport officials reported in a tweet that the plane landed safely at 10.50pm (local time).
Airport officials tweeted: “At 22:50 a diverted aircraft landed safely on the Prague Airport Krakow-Bristol route.
“There was reported a possible bomb on board an aircraft.
“All actions to ensure the safety of passengers and all air traffic are currently being carried out by Police of the Czech Republic.”
Czech police then confirmed their "pyrotechnicians" were on the tarmac.
In an update just before 1am, the airport said "no dangerous object was found after the pyrotechnic inspection".
EasyJet has been contacted for comment.
