easyJet announces new route from Manchester Airport with seats starting from £23

easyJet is launching a new route from Manchester Airport to Paris Orly in March this year. Seats are on sale from today (Wednesday, January 18) from as little as £22.99. The new service will start on March 27, with departures up to five times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

The new route is in addition to the current service from Manchester to Charles de Gaulle, giving passengers more options when it comes to flights. Paris Orly Airport offers travellers a convenient location to visit south of the city.

Tickets for the new service can be bought online at easyJet.com and via the mobile app. Prices start from £22.99 per person, one way.

The airline has also revealed that from May 2023 it will add a new aircraft to its Manchester fleet, bringing the total number of planes to 21. The A320neo aircraft will operate throughout the summer season and has several environmental and operational improvements, including using less fuel and producing less noise on take off and landing.

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager said: “We are delighted to announce a new route from Manchester to Paris Orly Airport today, further strengthening our connection between the North-West and France’s capital and providing our customers with more choice. The addition of the new aircraft at Manchester will also create around 40 local job opportunities and is a symbol of our ongoing commitment to the airport.”

Chris Woodroofe, Managing Director at Manchester Airport, added: “We are thrilled that easyJet will be launching a service to Paris Orly airport, which is currently unserved from Manchester, adding another destination to our growing route network.

“The commitment to this five-times-weekly service underscores easyJet’s growth and investment in its Manchester base, which is great news for passengers who will benefit from a wider range of options when booking their next trip.”
