No matter how glammed up you might feel ahead of a big night, sweat patches can leave you feeling a little less fresh and confident than you otherwise should. Luckily, there's no need to despair, with some excellent home remedies at your disposal. Homecare guru Lynsey Crombie, best known as Lynsey Queen of Clean, the bonafide expert on all things spick and span, has now revealed her top tip for banishing stubborn sweat patches, and it's so easy to try.
Dirt-busting Lynsey recently offered some pearls of wisdom to fans at Wilko's House of Hacks, dubbed 'the world's first-ever cleaning festival', including a particularly interesting tip for getting rid of unsightly sweat patches.
Speaking during a Q&A session held during the Leeds event, which was attended by the Mirror, Lynsey offered some expert suggestions for one fan keen to kick sweat stains to the curb.
Lynsey advised: "You can just rub in some washing-up liquid. All you'll need is aspirin. So you might have some aspirin in the cupboard. Crush those together, mix them with some warm water, scrub it into the stain on the t-shirt and leave it for about half an hour then wash it as normal. Aspirin is a natural whitener and works really, really well."
Speaking at the same event, Lynsey also revealed how you can clean fake tan stains from your loo seat, suggesting: "A lot of people will put on a bit of fake tan and sit on the toilet. If you get it on your toilet seat: nail polish remover. Just wipe it off with nail polish remover, and it will just go. Otherwise, you're left with a bum print, and so you should do it quite quickly."
