Easy Ryanair website hack helps you find the cheapest flights this summer

If you're looking for cheap holidays this summer, Ryanair is most likely already on your radar. After all, the budget carrier is famous for is low-cost tickets, with sales having included fares from £4.99 in the past.

However if you're after the cheapest flights, then you may want to check out a clever tool on the airline's website that could make the search even easier.

The company has a 'Fare Finder' online that lets you search for the best budget flights to your chosen destination.

As long as you know when it is you want to fly you’ll find a great deal, reports RSVPLive.

Simply set your preferred departure airport and destination, and the tool will bring up the cheapest flights currently on offer for that hotspot.

In fact when we set the departure airports to the likes of London Luton, London Stansted and Manchester, we found fares under £25 each way to hotspots in France, Spain, Italy, Croatia and Ireland.

You can check out the tool on the Ryanair website here.

You can even set your budget so it finds cheap flights well within your holiday spending!

For adventurers who don't have a specific destination in mind, you can also set the search to 'anywhere' and the tool brings up the cheapest suggestions.

Although travel insiders have said that the era of last-minute holiday deals could be over, there are still plenty of cheap breaks to be found this summer if you're able to be flexible with your dates.

When looking for holiday deals this summer, Brits are being urged to be vigilant and keep an eye out for 'dark patterns' on booking websites.

'Dark patterns' refer to the way booking websites are designed, to use nudges and notifications, to encourage customers to make a certain choice.

They are not the same as the dynamic pricing model which many airlines use to determine how much a plane ticket costs, based on the demand for the flight.

One travel expert has shed some light on how dark patterns work and why they could make you feel like you need to book a flight or holiday deal.

Rory Boland, Which? travel editor, has called out the practice: "Despite work by the Competition and Markets Authority [CMA] to clean up the industry, we know that not all hotel booking sites are following the rules.

"Until the whole industry complies with the rules the CMA has introduced and makes the necessary changes, UK holidaymakers are still at risk of being misled by unscrupulous practices."
