Easter toys recalled as chook, rabbit pose choking risk

Coles Easter toys have been recalled after a fault was found to cause a choking hazard to children. (HANDOUT/COLES)

Parents are being warned a plush toy chook and rabbit could pose a choking risk to little ones as the products are recalled from supermarket shelves.

Coles has recalled a number of items from its Easter toy range because of faulty stitching.

The fault, found in three colours of the Easter bunny squeezer pals as well as the light-up chicken and bunny, could lead to young children accessing the polyester filling which could be choking hazard.

Customers are urged to return the products to Coles.
