Easter roast dinner savings you can make with these meat deals

While Easter maybe a couple of weeks away yet there are still some wicked deals on fresh roasting meats to buy now that will make your Bank Holiday roast taste even sweeter. Make sure there's room in that freezer, though, as to bag these bargains you'll have to squeeze them in for a week or so - unless you can't wait until then to tuck in.

Marks & Spencer

The more luxury end of the supermarkets have come through with a family bundle deal that you know is going to taste great. For £20, to serve four, you can get a roasting main, three sides and a dessert. Meat choices include a roast chicken, slow-cooked lamb shoulder, beef rump while amongst the sides are beef dripping Yorkshires, braised red cabbage or stuffing. Loads more choice and a great deal. Sainsbury's

Their Taste the Difference beef rump joint currently has £1 off at £13 per kilo, for the 30 day matured cut, which should keep for seven days. They weigh between 800g-1.2kg.

Aldi

Hold the phone for Aldi - the budget supermarket will take your Easter roast up a notch with a whole venison fillet for £26.99, which is £3 off regular price. It'll be available from April 11, though. Aldi will also have pre-orders on legs of lamb. gammon joints and turkey crowns, available, too. Visit Aldi for more.

Iceland

Frozen food go-to, Iceland, will make Easter that much cheaper this year as it has roasting joints from £3.50 - you can even buy six of the 'easy carve' joints for £15. Or if you're feeling flush they also have two fresh roasting joints for £18. Find Iceland deals, here.
