The Easter holidays are officially here with kids off across the city until April 17 under Glasgow City Council.
However, during annual holidays such as these, many changes can happen whether its store opening hours or changes to collections.
It can be tricky to remember which bins go out on what day and just how often they get collected - especially if you have multiple bins for general waste, recycling, glass and food.

But thankfully there's an easy way to keep an eye on which bins need to go out - and when. So if you want to know this, and how the Easter holidays can affect collections, here's what you need to know.
Easter Glasgow bin collection dates - how to check when your rubbish is being lifted
You can find out when your bins are being collected by visiting the Glasgow City Council website - which will also tell you if they are impacted by the Easter holidays.
In their Refuse and Recycling collections section, you can type in your postcode. From here, you will be prompted to enter your address such as your house number or block and flat number.
You will then get a very handy month by month calendar showing which bins need to go out and when.
In addition, it will also tell you how often specific bins get lifted.
