Samantha Womack has given an update following her breast cancer operation, after revealing her diagnosis earlier this month.
The former EastEnders star, 49, took to her Instagram page to share a photo of a bowl of soup with her dog in the background as she recovers from surgery.
The actress didn't give too much detail about how she was doing apart from saying she was feeling 'loved and grateful'.
Alongside the snap Samantha wrote: "Recuperating after breast cancer op. My love makes me turmeric and ginger in the morning and homemade butternut squash soup in the evening……. #feeling loved and grateful."
Friends and fans of the star took to the comments to give their support.

Sam's former EastEnders colleague Emma Barton simply said 'love you' along with two red love heart emojis.
While Denise Van Outen wrote: " Sending you massive love."
As Jo Joyner commented: " Sending healing thoughts and love xx"
One fan said: "Sending love and very best wishes to you my lovely xxxx" as another wrote: "Hope you have an easy quick recovery. Stay strong."
Another follower took to the comments to say: "Sending u lots of love and hugs ur way, thinking of u, please take care of urself, love u, stay safe always." [sic]
The update comes after the 49-year-old said that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer as she paid tribute to Olivia Newton John.
Grease icon Olivia died aged 73 at her ranch in Southern California, surrounded by her loved ones. Her cause of death has yet to be announced.
It seems Samantha found strength from the actress, who battled breast cancer for three decades, to share her own health struggles.
Samantha shared a throwback photo where she stood alongside Olivia when she came to see her performing in the West End in the Grease production.
Paying tribute to Olivia, Samantha wrote: "This was the most magical of evenings. Olivia and Chloe had come to see Grease in London and we had dinner together afterwards.
"I was so excited and in awe, she was my childhood. I now start my own battle with this disease and am left feeling deeply moved."
Olivia was first diagnosed with the disease in 1992 and went on to become one of the biggest vocal champions for raising awareness before her untimely death.
During her 30 year cancer journey Olivia was diagnosed three times. The Xanadu star was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992.
In 2013 she was diagnosed for a second time but only chose to talk about it once she was cancer free.
Just a few years later in 2017, Olivia was diagnosed again when a tumour was found at the base of her spine.
She was told by doctors that the cancer had spread to her bones and had progressed to Stage 4.
The actress then established her Olivia Newton-John Foundation to help fellow cancer sufferers, as well as the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre, which gives treatments to patients.
