EastEnders star Michelle Collins, 60, has tied the knot with her longterm partner Mike Davidson, 38. The former soap star, who is best known for playing Cindy Beale on the BBC One soap, got married Islington Town Hall on Wednesday in London, writes The Mirror.
The 60-year-old stunned in an unusual white jumpsuit as she said ditched the idea of a traditional wedding dress for a more relaxed ensemble. To finish off her look Michelle added a quirky white and gold flower-crown as she allowed her flared jumpsuit to do all the talking on her special day.
In pictures obtained by The Mirror, the EastEnders icon was pictured beaming from ear-to-ear as she departed Islington Town Hall while walking hand-in-hand with her new husband Mike. She was also snapped sharing a sweet kiss with her new hubby on the street while enjoying a glass of bubbles in the glorious sunshine.
Michelle was surrounded by her nearest and dearest on the special day - as well as some familiar famous faces. Her former EastEnders co-star Adam Woodyatt, who played Cindy's ex-husband on EastEnders, was in attendance as he rocked a casual look for the low-key wedding ceremony in a pair of blue trousers and a striped shirt.
Another EastEnders actor in attendance at Michelle's wedding was Lord Michael Cashman who played Colin Russell on the soap over 30-years ago. Michelle first confirmed her engagement to loverboy Mike in April as she shared an image from a friend's account on her Instagram Stories.
At the time, the sweet snap saw the soap star holding a champagne in celebration, with the caption: "The bride to be @michellecollins." Michelle then shared the special news on her own social media accounts as she told that Mike had popped the question on a hike up Temescal Canyon in Los Angeles.
The proposal had come a decade after the pair first started dating. "So this happened in #la he got down on bended knee while we were on top of #temescalcanyon basically no one else around just us.
"It's #beautfiul and I'm #happy #10years this April about time I think."
