EastEnders star Jasmine Armfield looks totally different to Bex Fowler after leaving soap

Ex EastEnders star Jasmine Armfield looked very different to her character Bex Fowler as she snapped up a selfie during lockdown.

The actress, 21, played Martin Fowler's daughter on the BBC One series but has since found a new glow since leaving the hit soap.

The brunette bombshell glammed up as she virtually chatted to her friends that she hasn't seen since the nationwide lockdown was put into place amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Sharing the stunning snap with her 163k Instagram followers, the 21-year-old penned: "Today is a good day. I felt like putting on some makeup to facetime ma gals later."

She added: "We’re having a little virtual dinner party and i can’t wait for some ginger beer and food."

The soap star quit EastEnders back in February after a successful five-year stint.

Her former co-star Tilly Keeper, who plays Louise Mitchell on EastEnders, replied: "My beautiful friend wish I could cuddle you"

Jasmine joined the cast of the BBC soap in 2014, where she played the daughter of Sonia and Martin Fowler.

Bex was involved in a huge storyline last year when she attempted suicide in heartbreaking scenes that touched viewers.

Speaking about the reason she decided to leave EastEnders, she told us: "I think everyone gets to a point in their life where they need to get out of their comfort zone.

"I've been there for six amazing years and I've loved every single minute of it but now feels like the right time to go."

And the hit soap's filming was recently suspended until further notice amid the deadly bug sweeping the UK.

The Mirror exclusively revealed EastEnders’ bosses will ration two episodes a week.

This will allow viewers to enjoy their favourite soap for as long as possible while the COVID-19 virus continued to set in.

EastEnders has been cancelled on Friday in light of this.

Producers have juggled scheduling in order to spread out the batch of episodes which were filmed with the stars before the coronavirus chaos begun.

TV bosses said they would be continuing to follow the advice given by World Health Organisation Health England with regards to filming.
