EastEnders star Bobby Brazier is reportedly close to signing up to be part of the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing. The 20-year-old actor, who is the son of late Big Brother contestant Jade Goody, has played Freddie Slater on the BBC soap opera since last year.
A TV insider told The Sun: “Bobby is the dream signing for Strictly — he’s a young heart-throb who comes with a huge fanbase. He also has a very personal backstory and there’s so much love out there for Jade.

Bobby is the eldest son of tragic Big Brother star Jade Goody, who died at the age of 27 in March 2009 following a well-publicised battle with cancer. Since her passing, Bobby and his younger brother Freddie, 18, have been raised by their dad Jeff, and his new wife Kate Dwyer.
Since starting work on EastEnders, Bobby has been involved in several huge storylines. He is currently part of an ongoing plot that focuses on how ADHD can go undiagnosed in ‘naughty’ children, and have a knock-on effect on their adult lives.
Should he take part in Strictly 2023, Bobby would join several other EastEnders stars who have been involved in the show. These include Rose Ayling Ellis, James Bye, Maisie Smith and Molly Rainford, who has just joined the soap as Anna Knight.
