Danny Dyer has insisted he won't be giving up his beloved "crackers and Stella" lager anytime soon, despite worries about his health.
The Eastenders star has revealed his dramatic weight loss journey which involved him not eating for 16 hours a day. The 45-year-old said he took the drastic action for health reasons, reports the Daily Star.
Talking to The Mirror about his eating habits, Dyer explained: "My wife, sometimes she cooks me dinner. But if she’s cooking it with anger and banging pots around, it just tastes like ****. There’s a place called the Toby Carvery and you have to queue up for a roast… I’ve got a platinum card!"
The actor's recent weight loss comes after his eldest daughter Dani, 26, admitted she was worried about his health. But the hardman actor took his daughter's feedback in his stride and is now relying on a mix of yoga and intermittent fasting to help him shed the pounds.
Danny will be sharing his love of food with Love Island star Dani in a new four-part series, Absolutely Dyer: Danny And Dani Do Italy, which kicked off on E4 on Saturday night (April 22). The father and daughter duo will take part in a trip around the country and the actor will showcase Italian cuisine and culture in a bid to educate his daughter Dani – who initially thought Tuscany was in America.
Although the pair's trip was far from relaxing, Dani - who is expecting twins with her West Ham footballer boyfriend Jarrod Bowen - had fond memories of her time away. She said: "Lake Como was gorgeous – that was like heaven. It’s a honeymoon destination, oh my God."
Danny's Channel 4 show Scared of the Dark came to an end on Friday, with former England footballer Paul Gascoigne being crowned the winner. The show involved a group of celebrities living together in complete darkness and had a number of viewers glued to the screens.

Following his triumphant show win, Paul said: "People always question my mental strength but my success on this series proves that I am strong. I was nervous going in there but having got this far on the series made me the happiest man around. I’m so happy. It’s unbelievable."
