EastEnders star Danielle Harold is unrecognisable from BBC soap role in glamorous photo

EastEnders alum Danielle Harold is unrecognisable from her on-screen character Lola Pearce in a glamorous photo she posted over the weekend.

The actress, 29, - who first appeared on the show in 2011 - looked worlds away from her role on the BBC soap opera in the snap.

Wearing her platinum blonde hair in pin curls and sported bright green eyeshadow, Danielle put on a busty display in a black corset top and a blazer and accessorised the look with gold hoop earrings.

Completing her look with a bronzed tan, the actress looked like she was heading on a night out for the bank holiday and teamed her eye-catching eye make-up with a slick of pink lipstick.

Danielle didn't provide much of a caption alongside the photo, instead opting simply to use a green heart emoji but tagged her makeup artist Shannon in the post.

The post has amassed almost 5,000 likes on the platform, with a number of her followers taking to the comments section to express compliments over the glamorous photo.

"You are so very beautiful," said one fan in response. Another commented: "Goodness gracious." Others referred to her as "stunning" and "beautiful" in their responses.

The actor joined EastEnders in 2011, with her character Lola introduced as the granddaughter of long-running character Billy Mitchell, who is played by Perry Fenwick, 59.

Danielle initially appeared on the BBC soap opera as Lola for around four years. The character departed Albert Square in scenes which were broadcast back in 2015.

She however later reprised her role in 2019 following a brief absence from the show, with Danielle remaining a current cast member on EastEnders.

Lola's storylines have included a teenage pregnancy, with her having become the first ever character to give birth live on EastEnders - with such a scene broadcast in 2012.

Danielle has also played the character in spin-off Billy's Olympic Nightmare (2012) and her other acting credits include a role in an episode of medical series Casualty.
