EastEnders' Stacey in terrifying danger as she steps into path of incoming car

EastEnders' Stacey Slater is in terrifying danger next week as she steps into the path of an incoming car.

Spoilers for the BBC One show reveals Stacey (Lacey Turner) is left fuming after discovering her ex Martin was Lister's first choice for the job as market inspector, with Lily desperate to cheer her up as she worries about being second choice.

And when all hell breaks loose at the market, Stacey ends up with rubbish all over as a bemused Martin watches on. Fed up, Stacey confesses to him that she isn't liking the job as much as she thought it would be.

Fuming about the job, Stacey continues to rant to Martin about the job and also how he made her life hell, unaware of the road behind her as she steps out into the path of an incoming car.

But will Stacey be ok or will she get badly hurt by the vehicle?

Stacey dropped quite a bombshell on her ex Martin when she returned to Albert Square last year after a stint in prison, telling both Martin and her mum Jean that she had got married - to a woman called Eve.

In scenes, Stacey was visited by her probation officer to ensure she had a job and somewhere to live after her time inside, where the officer then dropped the bombshell that she needed to get things sorted for her wife.

She said at the time: "I got married mum. Eve is my wife."

EastEnders ' Executive Producer Jon Sen previously teased Eve's arrival to The Mirror in August, hinting there was some big things on the way for the pair.

"Stacey returns and that is gonna be huge as well. She will return from prison, as you know she went to prison after a false accusation from Ruby," he said at the time.

"She's going to return with somebody she's met inside in the form of a new character called Eve, played by Heather Peace. We are really excited about her and what that friendship is gonna be, as they have come back having shared a prison experience that has united them in a kind of very unique friendship, so that's really exciting."
