EastEnders spoilers: Whitney tries to escape and Keegan explodes in dramatic week

Next week's EastEnders is going to be explosive as Whitney Dean tries to escape.

Poor Whitney is determined to take matters into her own hands after being left crushed by a harrowing discovery.

But she's not the only one having a hard time as Keegan Baker explodes in anger with dire consequences.

Elsewhere, romance is in the air as one couple are reunited and there is a surprise proposal on the cards for another.

Whitney plans to escape

With Whitney Dean convinced she is going down for murder, Sonia Fowler tries to help her move on from her ordeal.

But Sonia, who urges Whitney to get back to normal, discovers that Leo King's mum has been posting vile abuse online.

Sonia and Chantelle Atkins try to keep Michaela's horrific claims secret to stop Whitney from feeling any more pain.

But poor Whit is left crushed when she notices everyone on the market staring at her and finds out what Leo's mum has written.

Max Branning tries to give her some words of comfort but makes matters even worse by revealing how hard he found prison life.

Whitney realises she has to take matters in her own hands and arrives at the pub while holding her passport to drop a major bombshell.

Keegan explodes in rage

It's another bad week for Keegan as his life continues to spiral dangerously out of control.

With her sister's woes on her mind, seething Tiffany berates her husband for being in a bad mood.

This only makes him more angry and the chaos while living at the Taylor's proves too much for the lad.

Furious Keegan explodes in a fit of rage, unaware that Bailey is watching.

Will mortified Keegan get himself back on track?

Ash confesses her love to Iqra

Ash Panesar has another argument with Iqra Ahmed as they clash over the doomed house party.

Iqra was stunned by Ash's actions and the couple have a heated run in.

Furious Ash vents to Vinny, but comes to the conclusion that she was in the wrong and needs to apologise.

The pair are reunited and Ash declares her love for Iqra - sealing the moment with a kiss.

Stuart's deadly proposal

There is more romance in the air as Stuart Highway decides that it is time to propose to Rainie Branning again.

After speaking to his brother Callum, Stuart is inspired to get down on one knee once more.

He arranges an elaborate proposal involving a spooky vampire costume, but it doesn't look like things go smoothly.

Will Rainie be fang-king him and saying 'yes'?

Kush hides Tommy's secret

EastEnders viewers were moved this week when Tommy Moon opened up to Kusk Kazemi.

The schoolboy revealed he was being bullied by some of his classmates in emotional scenes, but begged Kush not to tell his mum or the rest of the Slaters.

Next week, Kush continues to hide Tommy’s secret from everyone, including Kat.

But whilst dropping him off at school, Kush asks Isaac to keep an eye on the youngster.

Sharon makes a mysterious call

Sharon Mitchell is still struggling to come to terms with the heartbreaking loss of young Dennis.

Sharon has things to come to terms with next week when she receives a package and starts reading a letter.

Clearly moved by what she discovers, Sharon makes a mysterious phone call, but to who?
