EastEnders spoilers for next week have hinted at scenes of joy tinged with sadness, while there's one hell of a bombshell set to explode.
Twelve-year-old Ricky Mitchell, also known as Ricky Jr, is about to find out Lily Slater, also aged 12, is pregnant with his baby.
The pair's families go to war in the fallout, as Lily makes a big decision about her pregnancy.
Elsewhere, Lola Pearce and Jay Brown's wedding day arrives as they vow to make happy memories, following Lola's brain tumour diagnosis.
But there's a hospital dash that threatens their big day. Here's the key moments airing next week on the BBC soap...
Lily's baby secret exposed
EastEnders airs the moment Ricky finds out he's the father of pregnant 12-year-old Lily Slater's baby next week.
Lily's shocking pregnancy is exposed to residents in Walford, after she was told she was pregnant earlier this month.
Her mother Stacey Slater was in turmoil over the news, while initially keeping it a secret from the rest of the family, including Lily's stepfather Martin Fowler.
Lily opened up to Stacey that she had slept with Ricky late last year. They "only had sex once", she said, as she revealed they were not together, revealing they had gotten close after confiding in each other about their personal lives.
In recent scenes, Martin and the rest of the family found out the truth after the police and social services continued to investigate how Lily got pregnant.
Now, new spoilers reveal that amid Martin trying to encourage her to have an abortion, the truth about who the father is finally comes out.
Ricky Jr will learn he is the dad, and soon his father Jack Branning is clashing with the Slaters over the shocking news.
Lola and Jay's wedding drama
EastEnders is heading for heartbreak next week as Lola Pearce’s wedding approaches amid her terminal cancer diagnosis.
As the blushing bride is set to be walking down the aisle very soon, her illness could throw the plans into doubt as she begins to feel terribly unwell.
As maid of honour Kim arrives to help her get ready, Lola tells her that she’s having worrying symptoms.
She panics about what might happen in the future, and Kim and Denise do their best to calm her down and reassure her.
But with Lola deteriorating, a worried Kim decides to take a detour on the way to the wedding so she can be checked out at the hospital first.
In later scenes, Kim is left shocked when Lola tells her that she can't marry Jay that day after all.
While Jay nervously awaits the arrival of his bride at the registry office, will she make it to the wedding after all?
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
